I had my wedding here and hosted some of our guests in the rooms. The wedding was amazing, the staff did an excellent job making sure the day went smoothly, the venue was beautiful, the food was all amazing and all of our guests agreed that the wedding was perfect. The venue as well was beautiful to stay in, we enjoy our rooms and our guests did as well. The venue was very accommodating in helping us find extra cots as we had quite a few little ones staying, so that was massively appreciated as well.
What a spot.the transformation of the place was magical for our daughters wedding day. 80 guests had a ball, food brilliant, drink liberal and crack mighty. And forest ceremony a new delight for irish weddings. 10/10.
We stayed at Quinta da Fontoura for 4 days during our last holiday in Portugal. We were looking for a quiet place to relax with our little daughter, but we found much more than that. The apartment we had was very spacy and offered …
Very nice old style Portugese charm. WiFi only works in one bedroom and downstairs in the open quad. Food can be provided at E20 per person per meal, and has to be booked the day before. One has to shower before using the pool, and the natural part of the pool is out of bounds. Washer, dryer and kitchen is not available to the public, but they will do some washing for you.
Big metal doors at the front door and parking entrance need special accumen to unlock at night when arriving late.
Great gardens and short walks feed the soul.
Reaching the resort via very narrow streets, especially when you visit from USA, is hair raising, and often I made sure I still have all my skin on my elbows and outside mirrors still attached to the car!
In spite of all that, visiting Portugal was an experience I would cherish and remember with fondness all my life!!
beautiful place! the house is very nice, maybe the interior could be a little less "stuffed " with old things. But the people are so friendly and the garden is superior, that it doesn t mather
I went there for a anniversary. Wonderfull place. Bio lake, good food and good service!
Great place ! Nice for parties and wedding.
